Yea it was AWESOME. Action from the word go... put everything into place and DAMN yoda rocks lol. Only bad thing was one or two places there was some dumb acting that made you laugh like how vader goes "NOOOOO!!" at the end and looks retarded. Just didn't seem right, just plain looked retarded. Happened more than once. Other than that, it was absolutly awesome. Battle scenes rocked, so many of em too, and the music... gotta love the star wars classical moving music1!
Overrated the acting was terrible, storyline was ok but the jedis got killed off far to easy (i know they needed to be killed off but the way it was done was crap 6 republic soliders taking ona jedi master if it was that easy they would of all been dead long time ago).
The worst script i've seen in a film for a long time, with really piss poor acting.
The story was okay, and alot of the special effects were pretty impressive. It also gave a good sence of closure. All in all OK (ish)... just ruined by the acting and script.
Exactly how I felt after paying to watch it on a Digital screen. To add on to pHate said:
The emporer delivered the best lines and captivated the scenes he was in - a good actor making the best of what he got,i.e. little or poor direction got from Lucas. That fact showed also when only the 'seasoned' actors - Ewan Mcgregor, Samuel Jackson had decent perfomances in the movie. Anakin was horrible, Padme even worse, I thought they weregoing to reveal they were siblings thats why they were so 'passionless' when they were alone.
Yea, Yea I know, the main reason to Star Wars is for the special effects/action but come o,n the main character/storyline is based on an emotional/psycologial switch (light to dark) and this was not depicted well on screen (and yes I did see all of clone wars series before the movie).
Even the Vadar 'Noooooo!!!' scene was painfull to watch, so Ed Wood 'B' movie like. Special effects/action=A (note after Matrix score would get A+++ prior) Story etc.=D+, therefore it get a low B overall IMHO ,better than the first two but still behind the others (4 to 6).

It was overrated and everyone was going mad for it because it was the final star wars movie
i grew up on star wars and still have all my star wars toys
but after the first 3 movies the prequels were a big let down especially number 2

film of the year. I thought Hayden's acting had improved a shit load since EpII.

Because their are still 2 children that just been born
what about them?
And what about ther Darth Vader? Isnt he going to die or something
he keeps living...
and they didnt say something like The Jedi Society or something is safe now :X
I hope there will be another movies next year or something..

howerver they are gonna make a tv series and re-release the old starwars films in 3d.

Ok, I just saw this yesterday...
I must say of the 3 new ones this is the most dissapointing of them all.
The first thing I really dislike about these films is the fact that Anakin is supposed to Love Padme soooooo much he turns to the dark side for power... welll I'm sorry but there isn't even the slightest spark between the two. It seems like too young skywalker Padme is something to go whine to after he feels his Jedy friends aren't treating him nicely. The scenes they have together are horrible. His acting is worse than hers be hers comes out bad since she's doing the scene with him
Which brings me to the next point... Hayden Christensen can't act! Almost every scene he does hurts. In the two former movies it was easier to look past since there was at least some story involved and he didn't have as many scenes (none in the first one of course). But here where George decided to use the actors to fill in the gaps by just saying things instead of expaining the story with the movie every Anakin scene hurt.
George decided to tie too many loose ends in this final movie. The characters too many times had to explain what they were doing and why by just telling each other instead of tying it into the movie so for that reason many of the characters seemed too stupid just because things had to be expained to the audience.
George also has fallen in love too much with 3D technology. There's no reason to create everything in 3D. Even the clones (who were men) when they had no helmet on they were just a 3D animated piece instead of using the actual actor who was the model of the clones and then cut many instances of them in.
The end of the movie was the only part that was pretty good. The struggle between Obi-Wan and Anakin was good mainly because Even McGregor is a good actor. But even the end was ruined by the finale; Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
My image of Darth Wader has somewhat been ruined. Not because of the man he was but because of that dumb ass Hayden Christensen who had no talent and really killed him from the start. Now everytime I see Darth Wader I'll think that under that dark mask is that poorly acted dumb ass instead of the meanest mother fucker in the Universe.

Those two kids are Luke and Lila ( or whatever her name is ) from the old Star Wars movies. Episode 1 2 and 3 show what happened before the movies from the seventies.

it would sound as though you aint seen the old movies
these should be watched and technicaly best watched in the order you are able to watch them in
most of us had to watch the first section of the story then watch the first section
you are lucky in a way

Empire Strikes back
Return of the Jedi
these are awesome movies and if possible you should deffinitely get the remasterd versions

I watched Star Wars (AKA Ep. I) when I was 10 years old, the first movie I saw in a theatre, Vadar had the presence comparible to horror villian (Jason, dracula) viscious MoFo with the voice, look and mystery around the character. This is another reason why it was a good move by Lucas to start at Ep IV instead of I. Who knows maybe he had to admit to himself that Ep I to III had a weak storyline and would have killed the Vadar aura.

This was the best movie of the three first.. Like, the first and secound SUCKED ASS. Just a big joke, that is what they were.
This movie was good, but the oldies is still better and (best of all) classics..
