I voted yes, but I think that in most cases that 'love' is only few days enchantment

I voted Yes, it does happen, but it's truly an amazing person if it does.

I voted yes, maybe its not love, but some very strong instinct which gives you the feeling you always knew that person.
A thing which does not happen often, if ever and you're lucky if you can make something out of it!

The way I see it, if you believe in love at first sight, it means that you base love solely on someone's appearance. I'd like to think that love is a bit more than that.
If I understand you right, you think it's based on attraction, but I dont think it is. It's a thing when too people look into eachothers eyes, and they share their lives in this moment. Attraction only plays a minor role in that.

yeah but in rare occasions i belive that often only one of you fall in love at first sight
yes and i've experienced it! and so did the female! i was in a New York art gallery (MOMA) , when i saw a gorgeous lady (im from england),i pointed her out to a friend and he told me to go talk to her but i was too shy (and i never point women out so that was strange to start)..
later on i saw her on another floor, i was sketching and she walked by my and smiled.
when i gathered with the rest of my friends on ground floor to go i saw her leave (out the door), i felt abit gutted that i hadnt sed anything, well then about 3mins later i looked up from where i was sitting and she was stood 1/2metre in front of me and sed hi and introduced herself (so she had left, then come back in to talk to me!).....i looked around cuz i thought she couldnt be talking to me! but i was the one she was looking at, we chatted and that...however, and the BIG however is i was leaving that night to return to england..so all that happened was a chat and smal kiss (and when i told her when i was going she looked gutted, i'd never experienced that b4!!!) and she was the most beatiful person iv ever seen. the one glaring miss in our convo was that i dont have any contact to her..
but it does happen, i think we both just knew what it was then. i really need to try and contact her. she was 2years older than me and was a financier, having quit uni a year early as i remember.
oh well iv gone off on one there!! sorry ppl!!! i anwered yes therefore

Wow you really 'love' her calling her a "bitch"
1. I didnt say i love her, i mean sure maybe she could grow on me....all i know is that whenever i start thinking of her for a bit my heart starts beating faster
2. Theres nothing wrong with calling chicks --> bitches. Maybe not as often in front of other bitches so they dont think youre "mean", but among guys its the only proper way to behave.
"Hey bro, check out those 2 hot bitches!" Sure they might be nice inside and all, but at first, lets face it, their bitches. Its once you get to know em you can call em whatever else you want.
i think of it more as "compatible souls" , sometimes there is someone whom u can't even look at .. and sometimes it is someone who u enjoy looking at .. that my friend is a soul compatible with urs

This is a toughy, suppose it relies on what people "believe" is love.
I "believe" you can lust for someone at first sight. But, most often than not, once you meet them, the lust suddenly drops due to something you don't like. Maybe that's just me.
I have kinda same story as sniperfin has, although my love is still young.

I think life if staged in such fashion, were drama is a necessity. Hence, i believe that love at first sight happens commonly, but only for one of the two. Those who do find it are truely lucky and should cherish each other for as long as possible.

How is it "the only proper way to behave"? I can't speak for everyone, but I believe that treating people with respect is the proper way to behave, unless they are to do something which truly warrants being treated in another manner. I'm not saying that all women are perfect angels, yes some are bitches. But some guys are assholes, so should all guys be called assholes?

Youre once again missing the point i made, its not at all because the chick (or, female) has to be an actual annoyance to be called a bitch. These days calling a chick a bitch or slut is very common. If you think its disrespectful, then dont do it. I can call bitches what i please

I guess to me just because it's prevelant doesn't make it right. Is using racial slurs right just because lots of people do it and it's been done for so long? You have to answer that question for yourself. I'm not going to try to push my beliefs on to you, I'm just expressing my opinions. Do I do a lot of things that aren't necessarily right but that a lot of people do, sure, but I don't try to justify them by saying, "oh, everybody else does it so it's okay".

infanticid3: I couldnt care less if all of a sudden using the words bitch or slut werent popular anymore, id still stick with 'em, just cause it'd become a habit.

If that's the way you view it, okay. I'm not going to make you stop. All I can say is be careful not to let any ladies here you saying that.

If you don't like the poll then don't comment on it or pm a staff member and suggest different ones or post in the appropriate thread..
@ gdnimrod & infanticid3 please keep the comments and posts directed to the topic at hand and not at each other.. enough please. - thank you
